Harry and David have a 25% off code!! It is good for your entire purchase. But it expires 3/1/2010 so hurry. The code is FRIENDS. Ebates is also giving back 4%!

Vivre Couon

Vivre is a high end, designer type online store. But even the high end have coupons and deals! You can get $50 off a $250 purchase using the code BRIGHT. It expires 2/28/2010. You can also get 2.5% from Ebates!

Bumble Bee Tuna

Bumble Tuna has a great $1 off 5 coupon on their site. It is a printable that pops up after you enter your information. I did it a week ago and haven't receive a single email from them! With all the sales that Walgreens and CVS have been running you are sure to get a good deal.

Redken Sample

It looks like you get a sample of all 1 product in the image if you request the Style Connection! You even get to choose which one! My hairstylist loves texturizers, gels and such but I am always to nervous I won't like them. So this is a great way to find out!

Fresh and Easy Deals

Here in Fresno we have recently gotten a few Fresh and Easy Markets. On the whole they are expensive but their sales can be quite good! Here are a few of this week's deals!

These are going until March 2nd!

Hamburger at $1.49/lb (with packages bigger than 2lbs)

99cents/lb for family packs of chicken drumsticks and thighs

98 cents Produce Pack with 1 lb of lemons and limes.

One of the things about Fresh and Easy is that they don't take any coupons. So don't plan on getting great deals on top of the sales.

Pillsbury Coupon Book

You can get a Pillsbury coupon book with $10 of coupons! It is only valid if you are just now subscribing to their email list. If you are already on their email list you won't qualify.

Filtrete Air Filter Rebate

This rebate has been out for a while but I just found out about it;). You can get $3 back for buying a 3M Filtrete Air Filter that has a 1000 Microparticle Performance Rating or better. Fill out the form and mail in all the required stuff! The rebate expires March 15, 2010 so hurry!

My CVS Deals: 2/21

So I got a few deals at CVS this week. So were just good deals and some were great!

Brown Sugar 88 cents for 2lbs

Speed Stick Stain guard $2.99 with $2 EB back

Almay Intense iColor $5.99 with 2 EB back and I used a $2 coupon from the paper

Earinse 1oz $7.99 with $7.99 EB back

Colgate Kid's Toothpaste $2.99 with $2 EB back and I used a 75 cent coupon from the paper

Bumble Bee Tuna 49cents Bought 5 used $1 off 5 coupon found here

Scrubbing Bubbles $3 and I used 75 cent off coupon (It will also be sent in for my rebate)

As a separate purchase I bought Physicians Formula Bamboo Wear face powder for $9.99 got back $5 EB and then will get a full $9.99 back with the pink tabbed rebate form!

I also used a $5 off $20 coupon that was on the front page of the paper!

Walgreens Deals: 2/21

2 TheraFlu's at 2/$10: used 2 $2 off/1 coupons (here and here) and received $5 in RR

Pringles 3 for $4 with Walgreens coupon

Glade Oil Candles 2 for $5: Used 2 coupons for $1.50 each: The Glade Candles will go toward my Rebate

Goody Ouchless Elastics for $2.99 was supposed to get $2 RR and realized (when I sat down to do the post) that I didn't get them. Lesson: Check all your RR's before you leave!

3 3Musketeer's bars for 69 cents each and received $1 in RR

Just a note: You can't used Register Rewards to pay your tax. I had enough Register Rewards that I got the candy bars just to cover the tax.

Coupons, Coupons and More Couons

I have a ton of coupons! This is one of my tools to save money. Unfortunately I wasn't taking good care of my tools;). Between going to Stanford for surgeries and holidays, I had a giant grocery bag full of coupons.

I have always had a coupon organizer just to attempt to make sense of it all (and have previously blogged on the specifics of organizing). But I was keeping them in a box that was cumbersome to carry along with all the kids. So I had been eye balling the $1 check organizers that Target has been carrying. But I just hadn't gotten around to doing anything about it. So I continued to exist with a messy box and a giant bag.
Well, we ended up decorating the organizers as a MOPS craft. It is a great cheap craft to do. It is just the little jewels with the glue already on them. I also hot glued a little ribbon to girlie it up;).

So it has been looking at me and today I couldn't take it anymore. I had my 8 year old start cutting but he could only do this week's before he gave up;). So then I attacked. I cut and cut and cut a little more (a big chunk was when I was on the phone with Dad;). Then I rearranged everything to fit into fewer tabs. I am planning using it like this to make sure I like the categories and then my labeller will do its magic;).

Nothing all that special but it is an awesome tool!

Scholastic is having a great deal!!! They are having their big Dollar Days sale. The deal is that it is only for teachers but luckily, homeschool teachers count! So go check it out. They have 100's of books for a buck a piece.

Learning Freebies

I have a couple of freebies that can be great tools for learning.

First, the USDA has mini-posters and tips for families on the food pyramid. All you have to do is fill out a form and they will mail them to you.

Second, the National Endowment for the Arts have various publications on Art and Kids available. Some are downloads and some you can order a hard copy.

Lysol has a Healthy Habits Activity booklet that you can order for free online. You can order multiples depending on what you are (parent-5, teacher-30).

Lastly, the National Eye Institute has a variety of posters and booklets on eye safety, health and care available for different age ranges.
